ACCESS & LUGGAGE
• We use an electronic lock. Your personal code will be activated after check-in time and will expire after check-out time.
• If you need to store luggage, please inform us in advance. Luggage must be kept in the living room area.
• Please vacate the room by the designated check-out time so that our cleaning staff can prepare for the next guest.
• Any late check-out without prior approval will incur an additional fee of $80 per hour.

10 mins walk to NYU. We are just at the best and convenient neighborhood, the butchler's daughter is on the first floor, it's safe and it's my private room with a Queen size bed in a 2B1B apartment. We're home on the 5th floor of a walk-up building (no elevator). You’ll share the bathroom and living room with others (no more than 2 people).

Area is full of cool bars & coffee shops, restaurants.
Whole Foods / Trader Joe's / Target are nearby.
Subways / Metro and Citi bikes are downstairs.

**The Space**
This elegant 2B1B features a modern setting with enough space. The home is fully equipped with everything you'll need for a comfortable and supreme stay! From stainless steel appliances, modern renovated bathrooms, comfy beds, and all the essentials to make your stay in New York amazing! This is a renovated building with lots of lights; we have 9 windows in this apartment filled with bright lights and the kitchen is good for cooking light meals.

You will have your own private room, and just share the living room, bathroom, and kitchen with one other room that is located far from yours—separated by the living room and kitchen, so there’s plenty of privacy.

• BATHROOMS •
The space features a modern renovated full bathroom with in-unit laundry and a hair dryer/iron. Standing shower (no bathtub), and a washer-dryer combo machine.

• SHEETS/TOWELS •
The home is professionally cleaned before each stay, with fresh linens and towels provided. You’ll enjoy fresh sheets and linens, along with fluffy towels, all set up for the number of guests in your party.

**HOUSE RULES**

- Respecting Our Community: We're committed to maintaining a peaceful and enjoyable environment for everyone. Please adhere to our community guidelines: Quiet hours are in effect from 11 PM to 8 AM. Parties and smoking are strictly prohibited, and non-compliance will result in a $500 fee and could lead to eviction without a refund.

- SMOKING: We do not allow smoking/weeds inside the property. There is a city smoking fine of $500.

- NOISE: Quiet hours are in effect from 11 PM to 8 AM in our apartment, but noise from outside the building, such as the street, is unfortunately beyond our control. While we kindly ask guests to follow our house rules inside, please note that New York City is a lively city that never really goes quiet. If you are sensitive to sound, we recommend bringing earplugs to ensure a comfortable stay. Believe me, even our billionaire neighbors living in the Tadao Ando-designed residence across the street share the same experience — New York never really sleeps!

- CLEANING: We’d really appreciate it if you could treat our home as if it were your own. We need your help to keep all shared spaces clean and comfortable.
• Feel free to bring down your own trash at your convenience. Our trash room is located on the first floor. From the stairs, turn left for the trash room. If you turn right, that will take you directly outside.
• After using the kitchen, kindly wash the dishes and clean the cookware you used.
• Please return everything to its original place and condition (e.g., if you moved furniture or used appliances such as the hair dryer).
• We don’t provide daily cleaning, but if you’d like an additional cleaning, we’d be happy to arrange it for you. The cost is $80 (2 hours minimum). Just let us know when you'd like it scheduled, and we’ll take care of the rest.

- MAIL & PACKAGES: You’re welcome to send mail and packages to the building. However, we can’t be responsible for any lost or damaged items. For added peace of mind, we recommend sending them to the nearest pick-up location.

- Safety and security: Only the registered guest(s) are permitted to stay and use the space. Visitors are allowed only with prior notice, but overnight stays by unregistered guests are strictly prohibited. A violation will incur an additional fee of $200 per night.
In accordance with New York regulations, rooms are not permitted to have exterior locks. My landlord does not provide room keys. You may lock the door from inside, but not from outside. If a locksmith is needed due to a lockout, please note the current market rate is about $500, and you will be responsible for this cost.
For this reason, please take all valuables and important documents with you when leaving the room. We are not responsible for any lost or missing items.

OTHER Tips:
From Airports:
• From JFK: Take the AirTrain to Jamaica Station, transfer to the E train, then transfer to the 6 train to Spring Street.
• From LGA: Taxi or M60 bus to subway line. Total travel time ~ 45–60 minutes.
• From Newark (EWR): NJ Transit to Penn Station, then take the subway or taxi (~30 min from Penn Station).

Parking Tips:
• Street parking in this area is limited and metered. It can be hard to find spots, especially on weekends.
