We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s home.! We appreciated the privacy, cleanliness, and comfort of the garden level apartment. The kitchen is well-equipped. The walkable neighborhood feels safe, and it is convenient to The Children’s Museum, library, park, restaurants, and public transportation.Communication with Jennifer was clear, and check-in was seamless.We hope to stay here again the next time we come to visit our family who lives close by.

Stayed a week with my son . nice quiet location, bus stops all within 100 yards. walking distance to some really good places to eat. felt very safe .The apartment is spotless and well equipped with lots of nice touches. It is a touch stuffy being a basement but we got used to using the fans to keep it nice during the night.well worth it for a short stay..

The beds were comfortable and there was great communication with the host throughout our stay! There was a buss on the block and the train was only a couple blocks away. Both made it super easy to jump over to Manhattan. I stayed here with my daughter for a few days and would definitely book it again if we’re back in the neighborhood!

Jennifer and Harrison's apt. was immaculate. They provided every kitchen appliance and tool one could want - for coffee, tea, toaster oven. stove, dishes. pans. microwave etc. Fans in the bedrooms to supplement airflow, large air conditioner, streaming TV, even books. Everything was perfect. Lighting plentiful and well placed. An added feature is that ever tho' it is halfway below grade, there is plenty of natural light through large windows. Location in Brooklyn is perfect for trains and Prospect Park. Good choice for a getaway!

Jennifer offers so many nice touches to make you feel at home! The bathroom has qtips, cotton balls, makeup wipes and even a specially designated makeup towel! Great shower water pressure and water gets nice and hot quickly! There were 2 beers and 2 cokes in the fridge, with a welcome note! We were traveling in a large van, and had no trouble parking it directly in front of the apartment, only had to move it for street cleaning on Thursday. Jennifer responded to my questions regarding recommendations, almost immediately. Bus lines and subway station are within walking distance. Catholic Church at the end of the block. Enjoyed our stay!

Just back from Brooklyn. Had a wonderful time. Bnb close to subway stations giving easy access to city. Lovely peaceful environment after a busy day sightseeing. Comfy beds and lots of hot water. Supermarket close by too. Owners on site to deal with any issues. No problem recommending Jennifer and Harrison’s property.

We stayed at Jennifer’s for several days with our toddler. The place was spacious, quiet, and conveniently located. Beds were very comfortable. We were able to find street parking, but please note that it is first-come first-serve with restrictions on 2 mornings a week for street sweeping. There were several ants coming in through the front door when we stayed there, but we assume this is a small seasonal issue.

Place is clean . The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. Its modestly furnished and kitchen is not really set up to do much cooking.The neighborhood is ok but is transitional . Some streets are nicer than others but mostly low income. The Brooklyn Museum and Botanical Garden are close by and worth visiting. Everything else is far away and takes a long time on subway to Queens or Manhattan

I visited New York 5 times in the past 18 months and Jennifer’s place is the best one I have stayed in by far. A beautiful spacious interior, safe, decent parking, and very convenient to the subway. No point in staying in a dirty, squashed room in Manhattan. Great communication and seamless check in and entry. This place is an excellent value. Grab it!

I chose this location for proximity to my son's apartment. Little did I know that I would find such a perfect spot 1 block away. We were able to walk to the Brooklyn Museum, Botanical Gardens and Prospect Park. With my son's inside knowledge we ate at great neighborhood restaurants, breakfast at Brooklyn Bagel Pub and got great New York coffee right at coffee shops close by. It was a short walk to the LIRR to get me quickly to-and-from JFK. Convenient proximity to Subway station to take us into lower Manhattan. Jennifer was very responsive. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Nothing fancy but it was everything I wanted! I will definitely be back!

Pros: The apartment is very spacious, comfortable, and extremely clean. Photos are true to what you will find. The furniture was a step up from what we have usually found in bnbs. We genuinely enjoyed hanging out in the living room. The bed was comfortable as well. Plenty of very hot water in the shower. The apt. is well located, near several subway lines. It was easy to self-check in and out and Jennifer was flexible with the timing of our arrival (which was quite late - after midnight). Cons: 1) Bedrooms have no windows & with the door closed, was a bit stuffy but with doors open, difficult to keep light out; 2) As some others have noted, for older folks, the stairs from the sidewalk down to the unit are a bit steep and difficult to navigate; and 3) There is an unusually long list of very specific house rules. I would advise reading them all very carefully before booking.

I had a great stay in Jennifer's place. The neighborhood was very walkable and the metro station was a 5 minute walk (3 blocks) away. Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby as well. The place itself was very easy to find, clean, and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a pretty great time at Jennifer’s place. Very clean and spacious for two. Clear instructions for check-in and out. 10 mins walk to subway line 3. Quite neighborhood.Need to know that the water pressure is quite low in the bathroom but not a big deal. We found and dealt with several multi-legged insects that looked like centipedes in the bathroom, but we’re not sure where they came from. Other than that, had a quite good time here!

We wanted a comfortable spot for our last night in Brooklyn before heading home and Jennifer's place was perfect! Located near subway station + some great places to eat. The bed in the first bedroom (only one we tried) was sooooo comfortable which translated into a great night's sleep. The place is well-appointed and cozy without clutter. Kitchen has everything you need to make food at home if you choose. Appreciated the windows in front room and kitchen which brings light into the basement apartment. Jennifer graciously allowed us to store our bags upstairs so we could wander unencumbered before our plane left. Thanks for a great stay!

Jennifer’s place was beautiful and exactly what we needed for a week of cycling around NYC. She was very helpful and responsive when we needed the occasional extra trash bag or help with the wifi. She even let me retrieve some last minute packages that I had to order from Amazon because I forgot items at home. It was a great experience and beautiful location very close to the Brooklyn Museum, I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful street and and location in a quiet neighborhood. This is a spacious basement apartment. The bedrooms are fine and windowless which can be good for a deep sleep. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Sunday morning was quiet but Saturday was s bit noisy due to people walking above.
