Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! A view of NYC that we never got bored of. The house was great, was perfectly situated and gave us a great base to explore NYC and then come back and relax. The subway into town was really easy and nice to see a different part of NY. P.S The pizza place round the corner is amazing! Thank you!

1-Star Review – Major Red FlagsThe biggest red flag: there are indoor cameras in this listing. I discovered them during my stay and reported it to Bnb, who said they would “re-educate” the host on policy — but please check carefully before booking.Other issues: lights in the bedroom flickered or didn’t work, walls and doors were visibly dirty, and the bathtub knob didn’t function properly. The dryer belt broke halfway through drying just a few sweaters (the machine was clearly old), and the host later tried to charge me for the repair — after I submitted proof of the hidden cameras.Between the cameras, the condition of the unit, and the host’s retaliation, I would strongly advise future guests to look elsewhere.

Our family of 5 stayed here in late September into October 2025. The pros: The view of NYC is amazing, especially at night. The house is spacious and the outdoor deck is a great place to enjoy the view. Having three bathrooms was a great help as was the washer & dryer since we had a long stay. The neighborhood is quiet and surrounded by friendly neighbors. Parking on premise is always a plus in NY. The subway into Manhattan is a short 10 min walk & the NY Ferry is also close which makes it easy to get to the city.The cons:There was construction going on in the attached unit the entire time of our stay. I wish I had known before we booked the unit, we would not have booked at this time as we were hoping to relax & enjoy the outdoors more especially with my elderly parents. The furnishings & beds could use an update as could the kitchen utensils. If you like being right on the water during your stay, this would be a good option.

A true oasis just outside of the city with close enough bus, train, and ferry stops to easily get to and from downtown. The deck in the evening overlooking the skyline is divine. This place is 100% worth the stay!

We had a great family visit with everything we needed. Plenty of room, on site off street parking included which is rare in this area. Great separate space for those who sleep later. Beautiful view of Jamaica Bay/Rockaways and the city skyline. Ferry to lower Manhatten is only a couple miles away and very economical. Any time we had questions Michael was on it.

Michael's place was exactly as advertised—perfectly located right on the bay with stunning sunsets. Every year, my sister and I bring our four kids/teens to the Rockaways for surf camp, and this home was ideal for our group. It had plenty of space for all of us, and getting to the beaches at Far Rockaway was a quick and easy drive.We also loved being able to swim and paddleboard right off Michael's dock, which made our stay even more special. Michael was incredibly helpful whenever we needed anything, and he even took us out on his boat to explore Broad Channel.We felt at home here. We’re definitely recommending this place and hope to return if possible!

Great place to stay at! The city is close enough to travel too but the house or like a beachside.. The view of Manhattan on a clear night is amazing! Definitely recommend this place if you want to come to New York yet stay at a very quiet and relaxing place. Micheal was very helpful with our stay. Next time we are in New York we will be looking to stay . Definitely will take you up on the boat ride!!

The house was spacious for the family every floor had a restroom, very convenient the view was awesome from the balcony cute little house! Very quiet neighborhood, people were friendly walking distance to stores & restaurants transportation was close too! Cute little house! Will stay again if decide to go back to visit NY! The place is beautiful specially for night city view . Quite place . House is very clean everything and host is very friendly and respectful and responsible. Overall this place is very good , clean, private and peaceful. Location is perfect for weekend family vacation. Host is also very friendly , reachable and flexible. Though it is very minimal if you are looking only for vacation, but I want to just give you the information that you may face difficulty to use the wifi facility here. N.B. Host provided the details to connect wifi, but I could not . I did not bother the him again as it was least priority for me.Thank you Michael.

Such a beautiful location with unbeatable views and sunsets. Neighborhood felt safe for our family of 6 to walk in to explore shops and get to the subway station which was a quick, easy walk away. Michael was responsive throughout stay. We loved being able to spread out with plenty of room for all 6 of us. If we ever return to NYC this will be our go to spot!

A little rough around the edges, but the views!!!!! The house is nice and roomy. Quiet neighborhood with a quick walk to the subway. Waking up with a beautiful view of the city and bay can’t be beat. If screen time matters to you, be aware there is only one tv and it’s in the living room.

Our stay was great. The property has the most incredible view which was reason enough for us. The sounds of the water and the birds made it feel like we were out at sea! We ate breakfast on the porch overlooking the water, and kept our bedroom window open at night. Michael was super helpful with everything and we had everything we needed. Overall very clean and relaxed, would definitely return.
