Emily’s place was absolutely perfect! I was there for a concert and to explore parts of nyc by walk. I was able to walk to most places (20-30 mins by walk maximum) It was right in the hub of things! It’s super clean and honestly very homely. Everytime I got back, it really felt like home. The coolest nyc experience. The apartment also has its own character, spent a whole hour reading its poster’s and art. Thank you for everything Emily! She was great in terms of helping me figure out the location and check in and check out!

I had a great stay at Emily’s Bnb. It’s cozy, matched the pictures, super clean and Emily was very responsive. Plenty of restaurants, bars and coffee shops in the neighborhood. Bonus - You’re in for a treat if your stay falls on a weekend during the summer!

I haven’t gotten rest in a really long time and I truly got peaceful rest here and it helped so much that the neighbors and neighborhood was quiet. I loved it very much so and would definitely stay again. Went alone and was safe for a single woman. Thank u Emily!

Overall a very basic stay in NYC. Apartment was nice and located in a street filled with restaurants and close to a park. Nicely located.The negative, no bath towels or paper towels upon arrival and got bath towels after 10pm of first night, not washed but direct from store. Never got paper towels or napkins during stay even though told were ordered. The apartment is extremely cluttered with personal items such as under the bed being filled with random boxes, bags, etc, personal mail on the counter, and personal belongings such as luggage and shopping bags in plain view. Kitchen items were still dirty with lipstick and other stains. Apartment was lightly cleaned, with dust and general clutter still visible. Bathroom is in a poor physical state, but it's New York so not surprised. Overall very basic stay, in small not well maintained or appointed apartment. Overpriced.

This charming little apartment is in a happening part of NYC. Down the street from Tompkins square park and on the street many amazing bars and restaurants. You are on a happening street in NYC. Do not expect it to be quiet on the weekend. We basically only showered and slept here so moved around a bit. Location was great. No more than two people like listing says. Dog friendly which was a plus for a last minute needing to bring her with us. Emily communicated great throughout booking to check in and check out.

Such a cute stay!! Traveled as a young woman alone and felt very safe. The area is great perfect for roaming around and exploring. Great food options around. Host is responsive and helpful. Only downside is that the shower temp can be finicky. Overall I stay here again!

This was the perfect stay in East Village! So close to Tompkins Square Park, all the good bars and restaurants, the L train and so much more. Slept with the window open every night and was a lot quieter than expected, plus the building felt super safe. I would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay in Emily’s apartment. Perfect location, close to restaurants, bars and most importantly, within 2 blocks from where my two boys live. Flat is at the end of St. Marks Place so not as noisy since further from restaurants. It’s not the Fairmont but the apartment feels homey and has all the essentials you need.. exactly what I would imagine living in NYC.

Overall the place is cute and the location is great and very convenient. There is a park nearby but it can be noisy during the weekends due to the nearby bars and restaurants. And there is no elevator ( two levels of stairs to climb). The bed is kind of soft and uncomfortable for us. The bathtub is very old and the shower water temperature is hard for me to adjust.

I loved staying at Emily's place. The location was fantastic, near lots of restaurants and parks and, of course, my boy's apartment. The bathroom could use a good deep clean and the enamel on the bath is very chipped and stained, but hey, this is New York. I will trade the love, warmth and character of Emily's place over a pristine vanilla boring spot. It was great! Quiet at night, trucks in the morning were noisy. Then again, it is New York! Loved, loved, loved my stay.
