This was the perfect spot for me visiting my son. The location is great for walking to both Greenpoint and Williamsburg. I slept great. It was a comfy bed and quiet street. Yasser is very friendly and communicated well. I highly recommend it and will stay here again.

Great place to stay if you are traveling alone. It is a small room but having a private bathroom inside is a great deal. Although the neighborhood might look lonely, I walked during night and it was ok. About the door locking, since the room has an emergency window, it cannot be locked; however I did not have any issue or felt a threat. I felt very comfortable and is a great option to get a room in Brooklyn if you need a place to sleep and rest after long walks.

I had high hopes for my stay at Yasser’s space, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The bnb itself, is beautiful. Though upon arrival, I noticed some food particles in the sink and a towel in the bathroom with what appeared to be a makeup stain, which made me assume there were other guests sharing the space.Communication could have been improved. When I informed Yasser that the buzzer wasn’t working, he said he would look into it, but never followed up. Additionally, I had to cut my stay short due to a work emergency, and when I reached out to Yasser, he didn’t offer any assistance or attempt to find a compromise.Lastly, I believe it’s important for guests to know who is sharing the space and for how long. I was left unsure if there were others around, as I didn’t see anyone during my 4-day stay. Knowing this would have been helpful, especially since there’s no lock on my door.

Yasser’s place was very clean. Great amenities to use in the place including a nice coffee machine which I enjoyed. The space is perfect for a solo traveler who needs an affordable place to get in and out of Manhattan. It is in an industrial neighbourhood, which was quiet during the night. I felt safe walking there, and about 15-20 min walk from major metro lines like the Garaham station to get you around NYC.

Room is very clean/comfortable and had everything I needed. Has 2 heaters which is nice on cold NY days. Area is mostly warehouses/auto shops and the L train is a 20 min walk. Restaurants are far so food had to be delivered. Yasser responded very quickly and is a kind host!

The bedroom and bath could only be described as ADEQUATE. The bathroom was extremely small, adequate for us because we are agile and not large people. It would be unusable for a tall man or woman or a person of larger proportions, if you get my drift. It was a total surprise to us that we shared the living space with another guest. This was not clearly described in the information about the unit. It caused no problems for us except for the fact that there was no lock on our bedroom door. This could create a safety issue under some conditions depending on the other guest. We were provided with a laughably insecure toy lock to "secure" our valuables in the closet which was an inconvenience caused by not having a lock on the door to our room. All in all, the room was ADEQUATE for us because we happened to share the space with a very agreeable and friendly fellow guest so that we didn't have to worry about the security issue.

Yasser’s place was clean, presentable and easy to check in and out of. The bed was SO comfy and exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. The little fire escape balcony was also adorable and made us feel like our New York holiday had officially begun! The location was good—it was a 15 min walk to the nearby cafes, popular bars, grocery stores and subway/metro. There is a car wreckers at the end of the street that makes it feel a little spooky at night but I felt fine walking to and from the apartment during the day.Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to unexpected issues in our travel plans. Yasser was understanding and communicated well to help both parties find the best solution. Overall, Yasser’s place was nice and away from the busy streets for it to be pleasant and quiet at night, but still close enough that if you want to explore you can. Yasser is an attentive and communicated well.

place is spotless, minimalist yet still homey. Yasser is zippy when responding and flexible with timing. location is in an industrial/spacious area between East Williamsburg and Greenpoint - so there are heaps to do. bed is really soft, sheets are smooth. it was a really comfortable stay.

Great and especially super clean apartment. Even tho the room and bathroom is pretty small, there is enough space for two people! The bed is really comfortable. The rooftop is super nice, really nice view! Yasser is a really nice guy, he gave us nice restaurant recommendations and was really flexible with checking out etc. The apartment is not directly in the nicest part of Williamsburg, in the evening the area sometimes felt a little sketchy. You have to walk about 15 minutes to the Subway (or take the bus) and about 25 minutes to the hip area in Williamsburg with super nice restaurants!We really recommend this place and are looking for to come back!

Like other reviews, Yasser has a quaint, well-decorated space. The bedroom is the perfect size for one person, though it will also fit two. It also has a well placed window, so there’s plenty of light. Last, Yasser is a pleasant host. And if you’re a fan of soccer, you’ll have much to discuss.
