It is located in a very quiet neighbourhood with a full suite of amenities. The host are very responsive.Highly recommended!

Just completed our third stay in this property (twice in the upstairs 3-bedroom and most recently in the downstairs 2-bedroom). Marta is the consummate host. Her apartments are immaculately kept and very well-stocked. She proactively reaches out to ensure all is going well, and immediately responds if we need anything (like a coffee refill).The location is perfect for our annual work project in Queens and easily walkable to all that Astoria has to offer. We look forward to our next visit!

We relocated to New York this summer and we didn’t want to commit to a place until we scoped out different areas, so we had an extended stay at Marta’s for two months. She is a lovely, friendly, and responsive host who answered all of my questions before I booked, and kept in contact with us during our stay.The place was spacious with plenty of drawers for our clothes as well as a large walk-in storage area for all of our extras that didn’t fit. The beds were comfortable and the linens were the nicest linens I’ve ever come across in an Air Bnb. The kitchen had all of the gadgets and appliances you would need. The apartment was super quiet - we never really heard any noise.The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe (we had our dog and frequently walked him late at night). The neighbors are friendly and helpful. I would 100% recommend Marta’s place and wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we had family in town. Astoria is a great area and only about 15 to Manhattan on the subway

We rented this apartment for six weeks while my husband was receiving cancer treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Marta’s place was just what we needed. The beds were super comfortable with luxury hotel like bedding. The location was convenient to bodegas, laundromat, and restaurants. The neighborhood was friendly and very safe. We asked Marta if we could put a small grill outback and she brought us one to use, that was very appreciated. The neighbors were very friendly and gave us a going away gift, so very nice of them. We had our two dachshunds with us and walking them was a breeze in this beautiful neighborhood. Thank you Marta and Jimmy for providing us a real home during this hard time.Paula and Corky

The place was clean, cozy, and warm. Marta is a very responsive host and always got back to us within hours. We did notice a few things though- wifi can be slow, and it can get quite noisy as the door/wall do not block noise very well. However, overall it is a beautiful house with peaceful neighbourhood. We would definitely visit again.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Queens at Marta’s place. Finding the building was easy and getting to it was no problem. It was very close to transportation and lots of fun restaurants and little stores. Nice neighborhood you can feel safe walking in at night but also super easy to catch an Uber. When my large SUV was tight to park in usual area they were nice enough to give me some personal space on their side to accommodate my vehicle while we toured the city. The apartment was clean and well taken care of. Coffee area and kitchen were perfect for mornings before grabbing a bagel down the street. The bed and linens were so comfy and we slept great! The apartment was decorated nicely and I loved all the beautiful lights! Would definitely come back to use the space again in the future!

This is our second time in this unit and everything is fine with the unit. Nice residential neighborhood and a wonderful bakery/breakfast joint called Bench Flower a block away. The unit is clean, comfortable and reasonably well-equipped. My only complaint is that we were charged an extra guest fee when our plans changed at the last minute and we added one more person. To be fair, the listing makes reference to the fact that additional charges MAY be added if the number of guests exceeds the reservation number, but since the unit accommodates 6 people and we were only 3 with the extra person, the charge seemed unreasonable and unnecessary.

Great place. Located within walking distance of the train station, and the host lives next door, making communication and assistance very easy. When I asked about the aluminum foil, he sent a brand new pack to us. The kitchen is well-stocked with various cooking supplies, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a great stay! It was very easy, especially with a toddler- from parking to getting inside, having somewhere to store our stroller, good amount of space inside so we could put our daughter to bed and still hang out, nice bathroom and kitchen, comfy beds, very clean. Also, Marta was very accommodating and friendly, offering a crib and anything else we needed. We will definitely reserve this place again!

Place was great and hosts were very responsive to our questions. Some great restaurants in walking distance. 15 minute walk and 15 minute subway trip to Central Park. The only issue is that the driveway is VERY tight. Our Nissan Pathfinder did make it in and out, but it wasn't easy. There is on street parking though, so not a deal breaker regardless.

Marta's place was perfect for our 4-day trip to Astoria! The apartment is more spacious than the photos show, and it is beautifully decorated. It's spotlessly clean, with comfy beds & furniture, plenty of towels, A/C; we felt safe & comfortable for our stay. The little touches like coffee, a couple of drinks in the fridge, chocolates and fresh flowers made it feel even more special!The neighborhood is very walkable (and ubers are readily available) - lots of great restaurants just a couple of streets over. There was even a huge street fair when we were there, with loads of vendors and lots of food!Marta is a lovely, responsive host, and we will definitely stay here again the next time we are visiting family in Astoria!!

There are several reasons why you should stay here:- Fantastic location - walkable to nearby grocery stores, restaurants, and Subway. You'll see a range of people walking around but we always felt safe. Several were walking with their children, others alone, and some with pets. - Marta and Jimmy were responsive to our questions before our stay and right when we checked in. I never felt like I was being a bother.- Although we were able to hear the second-floor neighbors coming in and out and walking upstairs in the evening, it was only for a short period and not distracting from being able to sleep.- This Bnb really is your own. Whether you want the comfort for two people or the six they currently allow, it's cozy for all. The hosts were thoughtful in all the appliances and utensils they offered, the beds being made, and the available linens for the bathroom.We are already looking forward to returning to NY and staying here again. This apartment was perfect for a recent visit to Astoria and New York City. It is very clean and comfortable, and well-equipped with new appliances and a well-stocked kitchen. The beds and furniture are very comfortable and attractive. My husband and I really enjoyed the quiet and safe neighborhood. It was easy to walk to local restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner, a great Italian bakery and shops with anything you might need. The subway to Manhattan is about a 15-minute walk away. Marta, our host, communicated promptly and was friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the holiday lights in front of the house and the Christmas decorations inside! Great place to stay in Astoria. We would definitely stay here again.

I would highly recommend this listing as a place to stay in Queens. So many great things about the apartment. It is so clean and comfortably furnished. There were two of us (my husband and me), and the apt was so spacious and has many great comforts! The kitchen is really nice and well-equipped, although with the thousands of amazing restaurants in the neighborhood, you will want to eat out a lot! When you do choose to eat in, the kitchen is great. Marta has provided a lot of nice amenities--kitchen is well equipped and the appliances all work great, plenty of towels, soaps, etc. There is lots of closet space and a wonderful shower. The apartment was really perfect--a cozy, very clean and a totally comfortable place to come home to at the end of exploring all the wonderful neighborhoods in Queens. If you visit Queens, don't miss the Noguchi Museum, and amazing places to eat on Steinway St. Public transportation is very close and easy, so we did not use a car. 5 + stars for this apartment! This home is in a great location. We were able to walk about 15 minutes to ride the subway. A great bakery is 2 blocks away. The place is very clean. Cooking pans are wonderful. We stayed for a week and highly recommended it.

We did not meet Marta during our stay, but our host was very helpful and accommodating. The apartment is well-appointed and has all the amenities to make you feel right at home. This location is great - 15-min walk to the NR train station (don’t miss the chance to stop by Between the Bagel for amazing Korean fusion bagel fare on your way there)!
