Although the location was amazing my stay was not. The apartment was in unacceptable condition and did not resemble the photos at all. I feel like I got catfished by the pics online.
The unit was filthy upon arrival. There was a giant hole in the ceiling above the bed, a filthy bath mat, a pee-stained curtain, and a dirty shower liner. Roach bait litters the apartment. The furniture was heavily worn and stained, and the towels were also discolored and dirty.
On the second day, the host, Ami, came by to remove the filthy bath mat, one half of the curtain, and replace the liner. She mentioned that the bath mat was left by a previous tenant, which confirmed my suspicion that the apartment had not been properly cleaned. There was a toenail clipping on the floor and a used contact lens near the bath mat.
I had a raging migraine the first three days and was unable to leave but because of the unsanitary conditions, I ultimately left and booked other accommodations. This property should be updated with accurate photos on the platform as it is misleading!

We had no hot water but Stara got it dealt with very quickly. It would have been nice to of been able to have some natural light. Maybe a blind that let the light in and then a blackout blind in the bedroom.Was in a good location and not far from the subway so had access to all the places you may want to visit.

We loved our stay! Amazing location - perfect stomping grounds to get all around the city. Adorable apartment, had everything we needed. View is of alley and noise from neighbor upstairs at night. But the AC was a great sound machine. :) Stara was awesome as well. Highly recommend!

The place itself was just perfect for the short stay I needed — small, clean, and private. Nice place to stay. Small and a little old in terms of the building itself, but that's New York for you. They've done a good job with the apartment itself though. Nice enough furniture, working kitchen, space to move around, etc. For a small visit to the city, the place was just perfect.

The place was extremely convenient . . . grocery store across the street, laundry next door, Starbucks around the corner, Little Italy and Chinatown are down the street and close to subway stations. It was quiet inside and we slept well.
