The location is amazing, 20-25 minutes to Manhattan and Times Square. The neighborhood is quite peaceful and safe. I can’t recommend him enough, would definitely come back when visiting NY.

Luke is very friendly and responsive. Super helpful. It was my first time in NY and I traveled solo for the first time. He gave me great recommendations and went above and beyond as a amazing host. He was very understanding and accommodating. I shared the space with him this whole trip and as friendly as he is, he makes you feel at home, but also completely respects your privacy. Would definitely stay here again!

However, the windows can hardly be opened for ventilation. Bed linen is not changed during the stay, which is understandable since this is a BnB and not a hotel. The toilet is reasonable, clean, and tidy. However, in the morning or later in the evening, you really have to let the faucet run for a long time before hot water comes out. The kitchen is small but you can prepare something for breakfast. Only the dishes and cutlery are all mixed up, so you have to organize them yourself. Overall, it's not a bad option in Manhattan City. Just don't compare it to Germany.

Luke is a really super host. He is so kind, respectful and his space is 100 % comfortable and clean. The couch is perfect to sleep and is so private. The apartment is located in a safe and great neighborhood in Harlem and the subway station is very close (two blocks away) I was so happy because I could travel everywhere, that part of Harlem is so central. Luke´s apartment is close to everything (whole foods supermarket to buy food to cook and save some money) Thank you Luke for having me and for all your tips to go drinks and party :)
