I stayed at Moying’s place for a month - I highly recommend the pink room for solo female guests. It’s in a very accessible part of town, I hardly used public transport as everything is a walk away. Soho, little Italy, NoHo, China town, LES etc are max. 20 mins walk. FIDI a 30 min walk. It’s in the middle of everything.Moying is an excellent host. She’s kind hearted, attentive and highly proactive. Also now, a good friend. Thank you Moying, you are awesome!

Absolutely book your stay here! Moying is an incredible host, and everything about her place is great. Moying is very accommodating and able to work with whatever your travel plans are. The apt itself might be small, but it's tidy, very clean, and the room is extremely spacious. The pink walls look amazing in person, and I will miss waking up to them! You might think it's impossible to be in or near so many neighborhoods, but you are actually a literal minute away from great Italian & Asian food, SoHo shops, etc. I felt safe even at 10pm or later. The nearby laundromat is very easy to use, no quarters needed. I can't say enough about how amazing Moying is, too. Moying can offer informed recs and insights into the neighborhood, and is truly a wonderful, warm person with whom it's easy to share a space. Especially if you're a woman, booking long-term Aibnbs in an unfamiliar city can feel very consequential, so I hope this reassures anyone figuring out their next stay! :)

It’s been a joy staying at Moying’s place. She is genuine, considerate and kind during my one-month stay. I really like my pink little room with two big windows and excellent natural light. I even enjoy climbing up the stairs in the building. Sometimes I ran into the neighbors and they were all friendly and we’d greet each other. The kitchenette is adequate for me to cook basic meals. I appreciate what Moying has done for me to make me feel comfortable during this time. This home-like co-living experience becomes part of my cherished New York memories.

Moying was a wonderful welcome to New York City! This location is perfect, although make sure you look at the photos of the home, it's nontraditional, but it wasn't a problem for me at all. Perfect for someone who wants a more social experience getting to know the host.

Awesome location! On the edge of little italy and Chinatown, there are great little shops, cafes with a ton of energy. The space definitely has a fun vibe with the pink paint in the bedroom. The shower stall is unique that it stands near the middle of the kitchenette area. Water pressure is good and thank goodness the shower walls are appropriately wide enough to move around in! There was a good amount of natural lighting in bedroom which I really appreciated. The host, Moying is very personable and warm, making me feel welcome the moment I met her.

Our stay with Moying was fabulous! We felt right at home and Moying was such an accommodating and friendly host. This was our first AirBnB stay in a “shared living space” and with a host like Moying we would be more than happy to do so again. The listing is exactly as described and photographed, and Moying is a very respectful host and gives you your privacy as required. The apartment was well connected for us spending time in both Brooklyn and Manhattan, and there were great restaurants in nearby Nolita. Thanks Moying!!

Fantastic apartment right around the corner from Little Italy. I was only there for the night on a Saturday and the location was perfect to walk around and be part of the action - a fantastic festive spirit amongst the most fantastic Italian and Asian restaurants. Moying was a wonderful host and an absolute delight. I highly recommend sharing her apartment on your next trip to NYC

Staying in Moying’s apartment was actually the highlight of our New York trip and was worth every single penny. Moying was such a lovely host and we felt just at home with her. Moying was fantastic. Super flexible and helpful.Look, if you're looking for a hotel or typical bnb this is NOT it. If you want to experience how many hard working New Yorkers live, this is def. an experience. It's a 350 SF space that used to be a tenement apartment. It is an interesting experience to think about how NYers live.Please note, if you're looking for an uber clean and private space, this is not it. This is an experience. You will have to go up 5 floors of steps to get to her apartment. While the hallways aren't clean, it's part of the experience. This how the tenants live. If you have problems with steps or lots of dust this may not be the place for you.My daughter and I enjoyed the experience and enjoyed talking to Moying at night and learning about her. The location is in China Town right on the border of Little Italy.
