Anita and her husband were great. Incredibly responsive and helpful during our stay. The house was great for our stay and described online as we saw it in person. The area was also incredibly convent to the A and C line and got us to where we needed to be quickly and in most places we went in NYC without needing to transfer much at all on the subway. The back patio area was great. The beds were super comfy. I am a light sleeper and the family above is fairly active early in the morning and being right above us, we did hear every footsteps and woke up early. Since we'd come in late from NYC shows, it was a bit early for us.The neighborhood is lovely, eclectic, and diverse. There are some incredible restaurants, coffee shops, and even a great cocktail bar, and live jazz place within 2.5 blocks. There is a large grocery store around the corner. At night it can be a bit intimidating, depending on what's going on. Overall, we loved the location and had an amazing stay.

Anita and family are perfect hosts. They were helpful whenever we needed something. The snacks that were in the apartment really made our day, since we arrived very late.The area is nice and you can explore a lot. There is an express train to Manhattan. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need. You can easily cook at home. Since we all eat healthy that was a very goodOption. Thanks again for the lovely stay. Would highly recommend to stay if you want an authentic New York experience in Brooklyn.

We spent 7 days in NYC. The appartment is a 5 min walk from the C train taking you directly into Manhatten. Staff at the subway helped us purchase 7 day unlimited Metro card $34. We purchased a 7 choice Explorer Pass from GO CITY , a great way to see the city and save money. Free wifi is availabile all over the city. Recommendations- Time Out Food Market, Brooklyn, great food and cocktails overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhatten skyline. We also loved Eataly @ Flatiron, Chelsea Market off the High Line. The appartment is a great base, Anita was quick to respond to our request for more towels, and kindly allowed us to leave our luggage after we checked out.

She really made sure that we had a great stay.The place was comfortable and had everything thing that we could possibly need (for cooking, cleaning, bathroom, ...). Also located in a diverse and vibrant neighborhood, with easy access to Manhattan via A-C lines.Would definitely come here again!

We were at Anita's place for a week and had a great stay! Anita was a great host -- responsive, accommodating, and flexible. She responded to messages within minutes and took care of all requests. She also provided food recommendations which we loved. The place itself worked great for our family of two adults and two young children. Very kid-friendly place with toys, books, and a nice play area outside. The two bedrooms, kitchen, spacious living area, and laundry made our stay very comfortable. We were a two minute walk from a well-stocked grocery store and some nice restaurants -- we highly recommend Peaches Hothouse, Saraghina Pizzeria, Nagle’s Bagles, Warude and Corto. We were 5-6 minutes from the subway stock so getting places was easy. Overall, very highly recommended; thanks!

If you are traveling to Brooklyn with young kids I strongly recommend Anita's place!! We are already hoping to stay there again during our next trip to NY. She had everything you might need to care for babies and young kids and the apartment was easy to enter/exit with a stroller. The location is great - neighbors were friendly, there was a coffee shop and grocery store VERY close by, it was near buses and subways that provided us easy access to places we wanted to go, and we enjoyed the neighborhood restaurants. Anita was wonderful about communicating before and during our stay and was very accommodating, even moving a table downstairs so we could hang out in backyard after our kids went to sleep. Thanks, Anita, for a wonderful stay!

Anita's place was great and perfectly located. We realised the first night that the AC unit for the unit upstairs was in front of one of the bedroom, making it discomfortably noisy inside the room. Anita immediatly proposed to shut down the AC for the duration of our stay or refund us the stay.She agreed on having the AC shutdown at night, which really helped to make it a great stay thanks !

Anita’s place is a fantastic place to stay especially with young kids. It was child and baby safe and had a cot and toys appropriate for our children. It was extremely clean, has a spacious backyard, and is well located with public transport (both bus and subway), supermarket and plenty of food options within a short walk. Anita herself was extremely responsive to questions and requests. We would definitely recommend this place. If you have a child in a stroller then one tip is to go to Utica Avenue (a bit further but has a lift) if you want to take the subway.

This was the best Bnb we’ve ever stayed at. It was in a fantastic location, walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, parks/playgrounds and a short walk to the subway. The host was communicative and super helpful, providing ideas on where to go and what to eat. The apartment was spacious and clean and had everything we needed, including toys for the kids. They even had snacks waiting in the kitchen when we arrived. We couldn’t have asked for more!

The location of this property is excellent, a 7 min stroll to the C line metro. There are nice cafes and a supermarket nearby and the street is quiet and feels safe to walk on even later in the evening. We appreciated the privacy, cleanliness and all the thoughtful touches in the property, such as earplugs, toothpaste, water bottles, breakfast snacks and even a welcome card from the hosts. Self check in was smooth and the hosts were very accessible when we needed to get in touch. We stayed with our two toddlers and found this house to be very family friendly; the toys provided included a toy cooker and boxes of toys and books. The cot was also ideal for a stay with a young child. The property has two bedrooms and a spacious open plan area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Anita’s place. We had 4 adults and our 11 month old son stay here for a family reunion in NYC. Anita’s place was the perfect size and location. We were blown away by her hospitality and kind gestures, such a welcome card and gift and toiletries. It was so handy having a cot and toys for our son to play with. The location was excellent and was only a short walk to shops, restaurants and subway stop. Anita was a fabulous host, who was quick to respond and lovely to interact with. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay again.

Wow! What a perfect little place to stay. It’s convenient to great restaurants and the subway. Our Los Angeles family found ourselves very comfortable with such easy access to those things plus the market that’s only a 1 minute walk from the front door. There’s a coffee/sandwich shop right across the street. The neighborhood was safe and the street was treelined and beautiful especially because it’s fall. Anita was available for anything we needed. The amenities provided in the house were great. We’d stay again for sure! Thank you!
